PaintingSkillsAcademy: the “one-stop shop” for the Paintingsector

In March 2023, the new PaintingSkillsAcademy will be publicly launched. This ambitious project will enhance the professional figure of the Painter/Decorator, both in a National and European dimension.

PaintingSkillsAcademy is, in fact, not only courses, workshops or qualifications. With its creation, the aim is to improve young people's employability and enable the development of qualified, highly specialised, mobile workers in the European labour market.

The starting point was a meticulous analysis of the state of art of the learning in the painting sector within the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Norway, Slovakia, Slovenia and the United Kingdom. Thus allowing the creation of the PaintingSkills Keypoint document, which defines all aspects.

Consequently, a multilevel qualification portfolio was created on EQF levels 1 to 6, an innovative training workshop for augmented reality (AR) / virtual reality (VR) has been designed, and a transnational training offer is in the works.

Now it is time to go ahead and present the result of the work of all 23 project partners. The Final PaintingSkillsAcademy Conference will be
held in Brussels on 24th March
. Download the invitation here!

In the meantime, watch the first videos produced to get more concrete information on the added value that PaintingSkillsAcademy Project can bring to the painting and varnishing industry.
